Arguably the best MMA Heavyweight fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko prepares to face heavy handed heavyweight Brett Rogers on November 7th. MMA Sports caught up with Fedor to discuss his thoughts on Breet Rogers and his prediction on the fight.

TONY: HOW HAVE YOU BEEN FEDOR? The LAST TIME WE SPOKE YOU JUST FINISHED DESTROYING TIM SYLVIA. HOW HAVE U BEEN?
FEDOR: Everything is alright, thanks.

TONY: LOOKING BACK ON THE ANDRE FIGHT, DID YOU EXPECT ANDRE TO COME OUT STRONGER THAN HE DID? OR, DID IT SURPRISE YOU THAT HE CAME OUT STRONG?
FEDOR: I know Andre is a great fighter. He is one of the best athletes, a very dangerous all-round fighter. I was prepared for a hard-fought battle.

TONY: WOULD YOU LIKE TO FIGHT ANDRE AGAIN? IF SO, DO EXPECT AN OUTCOME DIFFERENT THAN A FIRST ROUND KO?
FEDOR: First of all, my last fight was against Andre. Secondly, currently thanks to the cooperation between M-1 Global and Strikeforce there are enough great challenges for me. There are many great fighters I haven’t met up with. Finally, I believe Andre needs to gather his thoughts. He needs to return psychologically and recover from the problems. No doubt about it. Andre will come back strong.

TONY: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR UP COMING FIGHT WITH BRETT ROGERS?
FEDOR: Brett is a serious fighter. He is dangerous with his heavy hands. I'll prepare diligently.

TONY: WILL YOU DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT IN PREPARING FOR ROGERS?
FEDOR: No. There is no special preparation plan. I’m in the same kind of camp now as I always am. A lot of attention is being paid to wrestling and boxing.

TONY: ROGERS LIKES TO COME OUT STRONG AND BANG. DO YOU FEEL THIS FIGHT IS GOING TO END WITH A “KO” OR A DECISION?
FEDOR: I don’t predict the outcomes. But I prepare for a long and hard-fought battle.

TONY: WHAT IS AFTER THE ROGERS FIGHT? YOU’VE PRETTY MUCH CONQUERED THE MOUNTAIN FOR YEARS FEDOR. WHAT IS NEXT FOR YOU?
FEDOR: Well, there is always someone else....
